You invite a friend using your personal referral link.
Your friend joins Smartist and starts their trial.
You earn free days once their trial clears the qualifying period.
You claim your reward, and the free days are added to your subscription.
Each accepted invite earns you 14 free days of Premium. There's no limit on how many friends you can invite.
Open Settings.
Tap Refer friends.
Share your link with friends by message, email, or social media.
When a friend taps your link and joins, they'll show up in your rewards automatically. You don't need to do anything to register the invite.
To see your rewards, go to Settings → Refer friends → Your rewards.
At the top of the screen you'll see three numbers:
Invites accepted — how many friends have joined using your link.
Total days earned — the total free days you've earned across all referrals.
Days left — free days currently remaining on your subscription.
Below that, your rewards are grouped into three sections.
The reward has been earned but isn't claimable yet. This is normal. A reward stays here ("Will be granted later") until your friend's trial clears the qualifying period. It moves to Ready to Redeem on its own once that happens. You don't need to do anything while it's pending.
The reward is unlocked and waiting for you. Tap Claim to add the free days to your subscription.
Rewards you've already redeemed, with the date they were granted. Nothing more to do here.
Open Settings.
Tap Refer friends.
Tap Your rewards.
Find your reward under Ready to Redeem.
Tap Claim 14 Days.
Your free days are applied to your subscription right away, and the reward moves to the Claimed section.
My reward says "Will be granted later." Is something wrong? No. That reward is in the Pending section, which means your friend's trial hasn't cleared the qualifying period yet. It will move to Ready to Redeem automatically once it does, and you'll be able to claim it then.
My friend joined but I don't see a reward. Rewards can take a short time to appear after a friend joins. If a reward still hasn't shown up after a day or two, make sure your friend joined using your referral link, then contact us and we'll look into it.
I tapped Claim but my free days weren't added. Try closing and reopening the app, then check your Days left counter. If the days still aren't showing, contact support with the name of the reward (for example, "Palette Squirrel") and we'll sort it out.
Do my free days expire? Your earned days are added to your active subscription and don't expire once claimed. Claim your rewards as soon as they're ready so you don't lose track of them.
Is there a limit to how many friends I can refer? No. You can invite as many friends as you like and earn free days for each one who joins.
