When you add a new artwork to Smartist, you’ll see a dedicated Artwork Details page. This feature helps you keep all important information about each piece in one place - and it’s also part of our upcoming Smartist Portfolio feature.
At the top of the page, you’ll find a toggle for Autofill Details.
Turn it ON to let Smartist suggest a title, description, and other details using AI.
Turn it OFF if you prefer to enter everything manually.
Smartist will automatically suggest and pre-fill several fields:
Artwork Title – Choose from AI-suggested options.
Artwork Description – AI-generated summary of your piece.
Height, Width, Depth – You enter manually.
Year – You enter manually.
Rarity – You enter (e.g., Original, Limited Edition).
Status – You enter (e.g., Available, Sold).
Price – You enter manually.
Materials Used – You enter manually.
Medium – AI-generated (e.g., Watercolor, Oil, Digital).
Subject – AI-suggested (e.g., Landscape, Abstract).
Styles – Up to 3 AI-suggested styles.
Tags – Up to 5 AI-suggested tags for better organization.
This feature is designed to make it easier for artists to manage their artwork information, especially as we prepare to launch the Smartist Portfolio - a space where all your artwork details will be ready for showcasing or exporting.
